About

Latency Conference is a cloud-agnostic community event designed for progressive IT leaders, developers, testers, and product owners.

We’re dedicated to exploring the cultural values, tools and teams required for building and operating your products in the cloud.

Since 2016, Latency Conference has been bringing the Perth tech community together to learn, celebrate, share ideas, network and connect with like-minded individuals.

At Latency Conference, we believe that diversity is essential for building a stronger and more vibrant community. We welcome people from all backgrounds, identities, and levels of experience. Our commitment is to create a safe, enjoyable, and thriving environment for everyone who attends.

In the past, we've had the likes of Kate Matsudaira (Director Of Engineering, Google), Mitchell Hashimoto (Founder of HashiCorp), Corey Quinn, Professor Phil Bland, Dr. Liz Dallimore, and West Coast Eagles Coach Adam Simpson, keynote at Latency.

This year, we are gathering at Optus Stadium, and will see over 500 attendees come together for a day of innovative and exciting talks. We look forward to seeing you there!
